Lucian recently took fly tying lessons from gem city fly tyers. It was a 4 week class and he enjoyed every minute of it. Couldn't wait to go fishing. I will post more pictures tonight.

I realized that I didn't even post Lucian's Birthday picture. We celebrated at Bob's superbowl party. His Birthday is January 30th and he turned "10"!!! Yah! "10"!!! Can you believe it? It just doesn't doesn't feel like 10 years. They have been wonderful. He's a really good kid.

Austin's First Birthday!

Saturday was Jeff's 41st Birthday! We went to dinner and came home for cake. So glad we were home this year. Last year he was in the hospital. He had an infection in his esophagus. Doing much better this year.

Lucian and I put up the tree over the weekend. He loves to decorate the tree. He has but the tree together for 3 years now. Then I put the lights on and we decorate it together. Jeff's not feeling well again. The last medicine they tried isn't working again. So we are changing to another one. Unfortunalty that means that he has to 3 month without a good protection to keep things slowed down. It just won't slow down. Please keep him in your prayers over these next few month. I will keep you up to date.

Lucian's Halloween costume

I thought Lucian's costume was pretty cool he's a head banger. He is growing up so fast. Now he likes handing out the candy as much as trick or treating.

This is Lucian's pumpkin he carved this year. All by him self. Pretty scarry. I sure hope the weather gets a little (lot) warmer for Friday. The kid won't want to go Trick-or-Treating. This is my favorite time of year. I also love to turn my clock back and sleep that extra hour on the cold mornings. It sure has been cold 39 right now. It thundering, lightening, and sleating all at once. Lucky us. Iam praying for Indian summer.

I'm So Proud of Him!!!

This is Adam's Army picture from boot camp he graduated last week. Michelle, Darryl, Danielle, Lexie and Mom went to see him. I wish I could have gone to. We miss him terrible. But we are all very proud!!!

This was todays catch. I figure it cost about $500. When you add the trip to the ER and the Cell Phone. Jeff and Lou went down to cascade creek to see if any lake runs were coming up yet. They were supposed to be looking! In stead Lou got this on his line and Jeff was afraid it was going to get a way. So he went in after it. Then he found out it was slippery when he fell and hit his chin on a rock. So now we have a wet cell phone, two stiches and a big lake run. We figure it weighs about 14 lbs. What a great dad we have!! He'll do just about anything for us!!

Lucian and his bowling team took 3rd place. It was there first year bowling. He was so excited.

This is what we did recently. Ice fishing at the peninsula. I sat in the truck kept warm & of course took pictures.

I haven't done very good keeping up with my blog but I'm sure everyone knows why and for those who don't. This is what been going on. Two days before thanksgiving Jeff was diagnosed with MS. It has been a ruff 5 months. It was very active when we found out he was in the middle of a flare up. It took 2 rounds of very strong steroids to settle it down. Then he got an infection in his esophagus from the steroids and lost 10 pounds (like he can afford it). He couldn't eat for a week. After not getting much help here in town I took him to Cleveland clinic in January. We now have him on avonex a shot that will help keep him in remission. They did a new MRI 4 weeks a go and feel every thing is settled down. He still has nerve damage that will not get any better because the ms is in an advanced stage. He is a real trooper. This man has only missed 4 days of work 2 in the hospital 2 to go Cleveland. He amazes me everyday. Through it all he has carried me to on my down days telling me how amazing I am for taking such good care of him and Lucian. He has also managed to stay sober. I can't stay that I would have. This has really changed his life dramatically he has trouble walking because his right foot drops and catches the floor and the bottom of his feet are numb. He has to be very careful driving and just recently got a brace for his right foot that helps with the drop foot. He says to me everyday this isn't gonna stop me I'm gonna beat it. If any one can he will. I know I'm rambling now trying to update everyone. Thank you all for your prayers and notes it really helps. I just want everyone to know that he is doing better. He can't wait for better weather to work on his car and the house. I've gotten back to crafting and stuff. So I will again try to keep in touch. Happy Halloween everyone!!! This is my Cool Goul!! I hope everyone is doing well. We are doing good. Seems like time is just flying. Before you know it it will be Thanksgiving then Christmas.

Hello everyone! What a wonderful family reunion!! We had a great day & everyone had a good time. Adam took Lucian for his first ride on a 4 wheeler. I think I aged 10 years I kept telling Adam kiddie ride at the amusment park. Not 4 wheeling. I know I'm over protective but they didn't even have helmets!! I will post a few more pictures.

Hello everyone, I haven't done a very good job keeping up with my blog. Sorry! Sometimes life gets so busy. Lets see whats new. Lucian just past his blue belt karate test. Report card just came and he had an honor card again. So far that's all 3 quarters. He is doing real well at his new school. Jeff is still at Wayne school as 2ND shift fireman. Which is great! That's what he went to school for. He hates being the boss. Its a big pay difference though. We had a nice Easter here. The kids had a great time. Who would believe it was colder on Easter than on Christmas. Yes we had snow! We went fishing last week it was in the 70's I'll post a picture they caught 2 big fish. This Saturday is the first day of trout. They can't wait. Well I hope all is well with everyone I'll try to stay more in touch.

Yes its 2:12 pm and I am home Lucian woke up this morning not felling very good. So I kept him home from school today. He seems okay but he does have another cold. He barley got over the last one and were on to a new one. The weather here has changed some its actually cold out. The boys are so depressed. They bought all this ice fishing gear last year & still have not been able to use it. We only had 1 week of ice last year in December. It came and went so fast they didn't even get to go. I hope they get the chance to go this year but it doen't look good. Friday was the last day of the marking period at school. Report cards next week. I can't wait to see how Lucian did. Last report card he had all A's but they've kicked it up a notch this quarter the spelling words are getting much harder and he started cursive right after Christmas. He's only in 2nd grade can you imagine. Jeff is still at Wayne school right now. We are hoping he will be their another 6 weeks. We should know for sure Friday. God is really taking care of us.
